The VibX1600 is a 3-axis MEMS accelerometer with high resolution (12-bit) measurement at up to +/-8g. Digital output is accessible through I2C interface. It is supplied with a generic driver software written in python that can be modified to the end users requirements.

The VibX1600 is suited to a range of industrial and condition monitoring applications. It measures mechanical vibration in three axes of movement, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock.
